WTF! Why?! This ending was like that of Satanicus! The author’s self adoration chapter is not needed.
Before I started…I loved the trope of office romance and was all for it. Then the added paranormal thrown in…bonus. Loved David, Alun and his brothers…adored the aunties. The slow burn romance was nice but the climax with the villain towards the end was thrilling and not a surprise. Joel Leslie kept it entertaining and..
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and finally getting to see the nuances of Ruairi and Daniel’s love come to fruition! The changes that happened to Daniel the changes that happened to their entire family all for the better of course were a pleasant surprise and made me happier/more engrossed in the story than ever before…
I had put off reading this book for the longest time, even though everybody raved about it when it came out because I knew the subject matter was going to be very difficult. But in the capable hands of Nicola Haken, it is masterfully told. The only thing that could possibly elevate it more was..
Enjoyed all the books. Great characters and plots were all twisted and different. All good psychological thrillers.
I’ve read fanfiction that’s deeper than this story. It started off great. Premise was great. But it resolved without any conflict. The big bad mage the dragon was so terrified of that he’d escaped, never showed up or caused any issues. And the whole guess we’re gonna get married and live happily ever after ending..
I simply adore Blue and Levi. This story gave me the willies! I loved it! Someone is on a killing spree and the murders are eerily connected to my favorite psychic and his partner in life. This kept me in the edge of my seat and jumping at noises. Joel Leslie is SUPERB!! He honestly..
Another brilliant book by the incomparable Lily Morton her writing with Joel Lesley’s narration are just magic.
Joel Leslie does it again! Great performance of a great story! Man, I could not put this one down. I absolutely loved the banter between the characters – it made me laugh out loud so many times. It is always mind boggling to me how Ms. Morton can take so many serious issues and still..
Joel Leslie really brought this book to life for me. I loved it when I read it and I loved it even more when I listened to it. I love Lane Hayes’ writing and this story was great.
