Seriously funny! Made me laugh out loud several times and that’s not easy to do.Perfect balance, great performance by Joel (my new favorite narrator).Good sex scenes without it being too often as sometimes books do and aren’t under the erotic genre.

The characters are fun and well developed. The world premise is delightful. I was intrigued by the psychiatrist to the supes motifs. Kudos E. J. Russell, a very entertaining read! Thanks to Joel Leslie for giving extra life to the marvelous characters.

Love the story, had more angst than I’m used to but the HEA was well deserved. Joel was great as usual. The narrator for Kai was really good too. Highly recommend.
but omg it’s so good, got confused at some point but I can’t wait to reread and figure it out. Will never get over some of these plot twist and can’t wait for the next book!
