This book took me by surprise; a good one. I love the banter between the characters. I’m looking forward to listening to the sequel with Joel as the narrator.

A familiar setting for a historical romance with a new plot and a strong heroine.

Story was good, difficult to get through because of the rocky balboa voice and the snobbish accent voice.

Great storytelling with vivid historically notes. The narration was very good especially switching back and forth from various characters accents.

Highly recommend this series, great story, great narration and I love Rosalind… what a badass.
