The books just keep getting better and better. I love grumpy Mori and spunky River! This is an excellent PRN series.
The story was good but predictable. The Narrator made it hard to get through. His shaky/whiney voice made them sound like very old men crying!
I found this series because of Joel Leslie & his incredible voice acting skills, but I stayed for each book after that because the content is so much more involved than the titles suggest. I highly recommend them!

the stories are decently long and read by one of my favorite voice actors. I personally have no qualms with the performance or stories progression. The stories subjects and actions can be a bit graphic to say the least. Do keep in mind dark romance is both romantic and DARK! Altogether 10/10 would listen to..
I love the banter between Felix and Lane and Joel Leslie does an amazing job capturing Felix’s cheekiness and Lane’s dry humor. The story is just as action-packed as the previous two. A few things seemed a little less believable but it was still a good story.

I love how NR Walker builds her characters and their stories are always carrying a heavy, deep message. Add Joel Leslie and you have souls and hearts. And you can hear the spark. Wonderful.
I know it sounds weird but even though a lot of them kind of p*ssed me off, their inner dialogue, actions, and assumptions didn’t really require too much suspension of disbelief for me. There was a lot of arrogance, insecurity, but also acceptance. I appreciate that the “miscommunication trope” didn’t drag for a million chapters..
