I just love Felix and Lane,their humor,love,care about each other. And Joel Lesli once again done amazing job.I really hope this is not the last book in this series. I want to lnow what are they doing after couple of years.
This is by far my favorite fantasy book (which is saying quite a lot). The book itself paired with the nararrator is perfection that I can listen to over and over.
Much more enjoyable than book one – better storyline! I read books 1, 2 and 5 back-to-back – book 2 was much more enjoyable than book 1. It was a very different read than most regency romances with the main female character being a widow and the main male character being a long-time friend proposing..
I grabbed this one a while ago on an Audible sale, and luckily had it when I got an ARC for book 5, so I could get the background on the series characters before starting the last book in the series (they’re not standalone and I’m glad I saw that info in a friend’s review..
It was amazing! The three ghosts had so much personality and were so good to Bre that it made my heart swell! The story and plot were perfect and it was great to listen to while playing House Flipper.

The story was enjoyable but it jumped back and forth on the different characters perspectives without any notice. The narrator didn’t do a good job in changing of voices to know whose thoughts and experiences were occurring. I spent a lot of time rewinding to try and understand. I liked the overall story though.

I love Zach and Ronan. Hearing Ronan’s story, though, makes me want to go back to the Here Be Dragons series and listen to/ read it again. So that’s likely in the near future for me. Zach and Ronan are so good together. They have a rough start but make up for it soon after…
I like it all. Enjoyed it immensely. The characters were great and they read so well. It really kept my interest without being too florid. .
