I had so much fun listening to this! The perfect lighthearted listen that was a good balance of spooky ghost haunting and charming romance. The characters were well fleshed out and I loved them both! Can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series!

Eileen Glass is a highly skilled writer. This series is engaging and imaginative, with highly developed characters, fantastic world development, and a story that holds your interest from start to finish. I was pleasantly shocked by just how good this series is. The narrator brings this series to the next level with some A+ voice..

Witty and romantic, I loved it!

Once again, Joel Leslie has done a fantastic job performing Lily Morton’s words. These characters wouldn’t be the same from any other voice actor. Below is what I wrote when I read the book with my eyes. This book is a sequel to Rule Breaker, the first book in the Mixed Messages series, and I..
light hearted story not much to it

The premise of this story was good and I was expecting grand adventure with intricate lead characters interaction, BUT NO. Sadly, it is a pretty simple tale told with simple events of a dull medieval prison break. Don’t expect profound characters or plot here. The two MCs aren’t dislikable but they gear toward two dimensional..
Great book.
