I won’t lie, I’ve enjoyed this series, but this book jumped around so much and focused so much time on inconsequential characters, that I struggled with finishing it. though I will say *SPOILER ALERT* there is a crossover time in the story between this one and hunconventional heroesand I freaking LOVED that!

I love Steffanie Holmes’ stories! This one was a blast! Great characters and the story kept me guessing as to what would happen next. Love the crossover with the Nevermore characters. The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing the story to life.
The cross of other stories from the author was amazing and truly a happy surprise.

I had read some reviews on the book and was expecting it to be okay, but it was amazing! Joel was an amazing narrator and I am so happy I bought this book!
My daughter has loved this series since she was 2. All the other books are light and quirky. This one is scary for her – she literally ran away crying. She’s 5 1/2. I’m sure some kids could handle it and even enjoy it but it is definitely creepy. There are grave yards, shrieking dead..

Great writing over all. Distinct characters that you want to see grow and succeed that are brought to life with great narration. A few parts drag on a bit, but nothing major. A great continuation to the series. If you enjoy this authors other works, you’ll enjoy this as well.
