I’m 😞. I really enjoyed reading origins so I was jazzed when I found the audio. I was even jazzed by the German accents even if they were three little pigs from Shrek reminiscent….but the Korean accent? The grandmother was second generation Korean American but her accent was both unrealistic, thick, and kind of problematic…

There are a few cheesy moments, but it’s actually a really unique take on the “straight guy” thing. The foreshadowing gives a lot, yet I still really enjoyed it. Considering I don’t like romance books most of the time, this was actually really good!

I have never laughed so hard while reading a single book. The jokes, sarcasm, & total realistic view of the horrors of exercising had me in stitches. A few times, I even I laughed so hard that I cried. The story was wonderful. The message was uplifting & sweet. It also did a good job..
