I couldn’t even finish the book. The narration was fine, but the storyline was so cringy. I had second-hand embarrassment listening to this. It just wasn’t it.

I’ve Whiddershins novels and have never been disappointed! Love, romance, lovecraftian, spooky, funny, adventurous, and fun.

A wonderful tale and perfect performance by Joel Leslie. Hopefully more of the series will be out on audio soon.

I must admit that some of the content confused me but overall the book had me laughing for the most part. Sam was really fun to relate to and connect.

I’m didn’t care for the narrator’s voice in this book. The story line was good…glad Silas and Levi worked out their differences.

Lily has such a fun way with words! I can see the events unfurling in my minds eye with her writing and Joel’s fantastic narration. Joel was top notch on this second book with Black and Blue. I hope there will be more in the future!
