Kyle and Sebastian took us for a colorful adventure, full of twists and turns and a lot of the soundtrack of James Bond playing as we follow along. Joel Leslie narrated it quite masterfully. I enjoyed listening to this one.

Be ready for a rollercoaster with this one. You’ll be taken to the highest ups and some serious downs. But overall, the story will leave you quite satisfied in the end. I wish some characters would’ve found their HEA instead of what they got but the main characters at least got their happily ever after…

I this story is about a very serious subject of partner abuse and a a speech disability that causes low-self-esteem. There are positive parts of the book but between the whining of the MC and the whiny voice of Joel Leslie I just couldn’t take it. Lily Morton’s books are usually some of my favorites..
