love the humor of LG Estrella. The characters are fun, the stories light, and all together a fun time. The narrator has a rhythm that does not follow the sentence structure. I found this more than a little distracting.
Joel Leslie’s audio is always fabulous. The characters were touchingly real. This is a lovely story in all ways. Do yourself a favor and listen to this one.
One of the narrators made it hard to take it seriously. The story was good, the chemistry was hard to find through the performance in my opinion.
Savor Book one—Snow. It’s as good as it gets. And, even Book One makes several questionable and STUPID plotting choices. Book Two—Hug it Out makes you question yourself for listening—not because of the cute parts but because of all of the plotting that robs you of the ability to suspend your disbelief. I imagine that..
I so enjoyed this book and all the humor and twists and turns. I’ve enjoyed most all of the Picket books but this one by far stands out. It’s a good plot and kept me wanting more. The narrator is simply FABULOUS!!!
The story was indeed short. The dynamic of the characters was interesting. The narration was also well done. I’m not sure I would have chosen any differently in the end.
This is my second listen to Demons Do it Better by Louisa Masters and I loved it more than the first time. Once you know how this compelling story unfolds you can relax and enjoy Joel Leslie’s wonderful narration. I always say that a narrator can make or brake an audiobook, and Joel is one..
Kim Fielding has become one of my favorite authors. She’s has a strong literary background and writes beautifully. In this book, poignant human situations are woven together with magic, mythology, and romance. I appreciated the reality of friendship, family ties, love and loss. Crow grieved over the death he caused the people his life connected..
