Great start to the new series. Dean’s story has been a long time coming and doesn’t disappoint. Lily always brings all the feels along with laugh out loud humor. Joel always knows how to breathe life into Lily’s wonderful characters. Looking forward b to the next book.

Wasn’t sure if I would like the series when I started the first book. Decided to get the second one and was hooked. Good series. The stuff that has happened with these two was almost to much it made the story.

I really enjoyed this story. It has several common fantasy tropes but also has some interesting twists and turns. I was genuinely surprised by some of the characters.

Another fantastic book!! Ready to devour the next book in the series!! As for narration, Joel Leslie, enough said! (Mic Drop, leave the stage!)

It always amazes me how some people turn their noses up at romances. I would make them read this book. It’s romantic, yes. Joel is incredible, as usual. Also loves Joel’s narration his British accent is very good. I have always wondered about Dean he seemed something else apart from Asa dumb step brother really enjoyed listening to the book.

I have to say here that I absolutely loved the original series and this book was no different! great mysteries, an excellent writing style, fantastic world building, and throwbacks to older books, characters that still act like themselves from the original series!
