I really like this book and everything was good UNTIL I listened to Whisper and Kris is done without the strong accent and now I can’t listen to this one without cringing. It’s mostly because Whisper is so freaking good and so the language aspect of Kris is so meaningful that I just can’t reconcile..
Absolutely loved it. It was funny, action, and great world building. That’s the trifecta for me and 100% hit the mark!
I would never listen to this type of audio. But I am so glad that I did. Non stop action and storyline and the narrator was awesome. This is a must listen audiobook

I’m so happy for this spinoff series. I love this universe and am delighted it is continuing. The narration, as always, was wonderful.

I thought this would be a funny vampire book and loved the sound of the narrator. It’s not funny and I’m just struggling to keep up with the story.
