I love this narrator. N R Walker has become one of my favorite authors. This book was a little on the long side but I freaking loved it. I hardly ever tear up but the end really got me. Superb! Chef’s kiss. 😘

I’ve loved and read all of Lily’s Monster Series but this one wasn’t on KU, so when I heard Joel’s sample at the end of Soul Eater I was hooked and have been waiting for it to come out. Now that the next book is on KU, I’ll definitely be reading it starting right after..
Story starts off with Ash, a young college grad going home to relax and celebrate his birthday, and ends with me, sitting in my living room crying my eyes out at 12:06 AM, after binging this in a single day. So thanks for that Lily Mayne! Its worth the credit, 100%. If you know this..
I loved the Unconventional Heros series and was very excited to see another series from Estrella. This book was not on par with the UH series, in story, plot, writing, or narration. I struggled a bit to get through it. And PLEASE explain to those involved with this author that the “LL” in ESTRELLA is..
Wow, I wish I wanted until reviews to order this. The narrator’s voice is like nails on a chalkboard. The story is okay. The voiceover would be ok for some other story but not some supposedly hot 20 year old main character.
Lily Morton and Joel Leslie have delivered yet again. There’s nothing quite as good as an adult fairy tale with statues coming to life and bad guys choosing a better path. Then there’s the delectable romance! I loved every minute of this audio book.
This whole series is one of my frequent rereads – getting to hear it performed so well has only added to the enjoyment. Excellent world-building and complex characters, engaging plot.
Really enjoyed the twists and turns in this book and the choice of narrators contributed to the element of surprise. Really well done, loved this one!
The author delivers an entertaining read, but after reading the previous books in the series she is basically writing the same plot over and over. Damsel in distress someone is trying to kill her and the Scot saves her.
