The jokes were a good combo of witty and gamey. the characters had likeable personalities and I want to hear more.

I love this book. Sage and Gideon are such cool characters. Fluke is adorable. I love the magic in this story. I really enjoyed listening to this. Joel Leslie is so talented. He made Gideon sound so sexy. 🤤

In general, I have been enjoying this author a great deal, they make me laugh out loud at times. But this book was dark and I really did not like the consent issues. Having people bound together, even if they work it out later, does not equate to consent. It’s more like the old-fashioned look..
This narrator has such wonderful character portrayals and is so droll and delightful. I have loved every cat Sebastian book I’ve read but the audio books for this series were such a treat. Narrator usually ruins audio books for me.
The story is so good. The performance would be amazing too if it weren’t for Mikey’s narrator who sounds something like RFK JR. it was a hard listen whenever he took control.
