Didn’t work for me

Review from The Sceptic →

DNF @ 40% Unfortunately, not even Joel Leslie could keep me entertained enough to finish this one. I did enjoy the cameos of seeing Blue and past characters from the Black & Blue series, but don’t think you’d need to read the series before trying this to know who is who – there’s a good..

Oh my goodness

Review from The Sceptic →

Ok first of all, I was already a huge fan of Lily Morton…and if Joel Leslie as a narrator. Will and Jem absolutely have my heart!!! This is in the same immediate work as the Blue Billings series and I am a huge fan of those. Will is Blue’s best friend. Now Will is finding..

Great Listen

Review from The Sceptic →

Fun love story that includes a ghost story! Entertaining narration with great voices for each character. The story shows the importance of family (found and blood) and friends along with the characters learning more about themselves and what they want in life.

Asweet story

Review from On a Midnight Clear →

This story will become a season favorite for me, but don’t wait for Christmas to listen your first time. This is a wonderful story about love, a little magic, 🔥 and that one person perfect for you.

Maybe it gets better?

Review from Liar City →

I have loved previous books by Therin and was looking forward to this one for a while. I DNF’d at about 70%. My hope is that with future books, it will be worth the slog to get to something good. As it stands, I feel like I am forcing myself to continue. I love Joel..

Adequate

Review from Project Hero →

I’m sure this book was fine, but I don’t even really remember it. Kind of blurs in to all the other ridiculous romance novels I read. That said, most books in this genre are for real terrible and I don’t think this was. Just not memorable. The narrators were great.

Pretty boring overall

Review from Kings of Hell MC Boxed Set →

For being so long winded it wrapped up very quickly and left a want for an actual finish. The epilogue’s were also very boring and could’ve actually closed the story up nicely. Joel performance was underwhelming and I feel maybe he bit off more than he could chew, the audio was very low. Worth a..

A Delightful Jane Eyre Rom Com

Review from Baroness in Buckskin →

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. And, as always, any book narrated by Joel Froomkin is an absolute joy. Joel breathes life into every character, no matter if it’s a single line in the whole book. Taking place in England, a wealthy Lord learns that a female cousin in America has been left orphaned, and although..

Waiting for it to get better…

Review from Origin →

Waited for the story to get better. It was flat most of the book. The narrator rushed through the story…and with the sprinkling of German throughout the book you sometimes just get lost. The German accent was just…horrible.
