Maybe it’s me… but I really could not tolerate this narration. I’ve never given up on an audiobook but this one I really couldn’t handle. I know everyone has different tastes, but this narrator isn’t for me… Not only that though, the story it’s self didn’t really hold my attention the way I hoped it..
This may very well be my favorite Lily Morton book yet! Absolutely enjoyed every bit of it! Both characters are so lovable and their relationship is so comfortable it was such a delight to see it develop. 3.5* This was a sweet, endearing listen, performed excellently by the always awesome Joel Leslie. It was a differnt take on Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, in the point of view of Christmas Present, with a bit of a twist. My heart hurt a little for Lewis, I’m glad he and Sam found each other.
