Cute story. A little bit too sweet for my tastes. The characters each had their struggles and I was glad for how it ended, but the story as a whole didn’t build tension well. The narrator was just okay. The accents were distinguishable from one another, but they weren’t terribly good.

Oh wow! So many emotions here and a really spectacular love story. Ethan and Clay are perfect for each other and their love story is pretty amazing. The audiobook was so good and perfect. Love Joel and how he interpreted both characters.

Loved the without filter humor of Henry and others. The narrator brought all of the story and characters to life. The writing and story of life’s unexpected happenings , the day to day struggles or changes it can bring, the challenges of overcoming, self-discovery, moving on, and the achievements during the journey felt real enough..
I just want to start this off by saying these books are not REALLY stand-alones. You need to read the first 4 Curl Up & Dye books to be able to actually appreciate these three. The third book could be read alone but the side characters & world building make a whole lot more sense..

Book one was amazing but I didn’t like the plot in book 2 but the writer is amazing and funny so I still loved the book. I can’t wait to listen to the next one.
