I really wish series book would say right at the beginning. Also the “left hanging” half way through the book was not amusing. The book is good with interesting world and characters but all of that doesn’t make up for the “cliff hanger” ending. So very disappointing I really feel cheated.

I thought since I missed Cooper and Oliver so much, it might taint how much I would enjoy this one. It did not. Very quickly, Eli stole the show with his wit and vulnerabilities. And Julien… with his grief and sweet good guy demeanor, how could you not adore him? I can’t wait to see..

I can never say enough praise about Lily and Joel. I’ve listened to or read almost every book Lily has written. This was by far the most romantic, heartwarming story of all.
