I really enjoyed this book. I was not expecting the turn it took towards the end. It hurt but in a good way especially when you add in the narration by Joel Leslie. I’m looking forward to book 2.

Being an empath, this book hit close to home, touching on so many of the hidden, intrinsic facets of this long pariahed and taboo super power, by weaving it into and around a centuries old familiar tale but in such an original and unique way. I highly recommend!

I cant say how much I enjoyed these novels, Joel Leslie is a master of accents, I have to also say as an African I was impressed by the way he tried the African accent the Asian too was awesome. The books totally took over my life and I read all 4 in a week

This one not only had me shocked with every little twist, but now that I’ve finished, I want to go back for a re-listen to see if I can pick up on any of them earlier in the novel. Great psychological thriller !

This book is cool. It’s fade to black and I normally like at least a little spice but it still kept my interest and I listened to it in almost one sitting without getting bored. I like the lost prince, and the badass theif type stories. This is also one of Joel Leslie’s better performances..
