Was this short? Why yes Does that matter? Heck no This sweet Christmas tale made me a bit sniffly and I needed that today. I am so glad that these two met and found each other. Joel Leslie did a wonderful job as always. And there is nothing wrong with being a cat person.

I liked this one but something was missing for me. I didn’t ever make a connection with the two main characters (Mercy and Rafe). Alice Winters has done a phenomenal job with this series and Joel Leslie is spot-on with the characters. I laughed my butt off with this book.

The voice of the narrator was so exaggerated at times that it almost was painful to continue listening to. The accent of the narrator made it hard to distinguish between characters when he tried to go back and forth.

I was actually not going to listen to this audio book. what changed my mind was the narrator Joel Leslie. I’m exceedingly happy that I did listen to this excellent story. Great storyline, narrating was of course the absolute best.

what a perfect Gothic romance! somehow, “good” still prevailed at the end. ❤️ I will be looking for more works by this compelling author!
