The main character is a cross of Evie and Jonathan from the first two Mummy movies! Voice actor is wonderful at speaking in different accents for each character. I’ve audioread more than 3 months worth of mostly romantic fiction, and I skipped over this title several times because I rarely am into vampires. This was refreshing enough for me to doubt future such dismissals.

Loved everything about this, even the bit of back and forth between Jude and Asa. I adored Billy- he’s a child character done right! Joel was fantastic as always with his performance!

So far, I’ve listened to this book three times and have loved every second of it. there’s all the tropes I usually only see in fan fiction presented in one published work and it’s amazing. This has definitely become my number one comfort read.
