I wish she’d stick to the thriller aspect of her book rather than delving into romance. This isn’t a love novel but at times I was cringing because I just wanted her to move on to what was relevant. I’m not into soapy romance.
The magic mechanics kept changing to suit the story, and the use of “scoundrel” is basically incorrect. Neither character is remotely a scoundrel. One likes stray cats, and one is a dick.

JA Huss did it again! Another amazing story with great characters. She always knocks them out of the park. And I live the commentary at the end.
I was not enamoured by the story, and definitely not by the narration. I didn’t like the accents used and I was left feeling detached from the story altogether.
Loved these books – and 4 of them for the price of 1? Can’t be beat!
There was not one thing that I did not like. It had the serious parts but mostly full of laughter. I came across this author and liked what I read. So the fun I would have listening at work made a plus sign for me.
The family dynamics and struggles are realistic, the story keeps your interest and Joel Leslie is his usual extraordinary self

I enjoyed this bundle and though series and it’s interconnected mot can be read as stand alones. They were all pretty light listens with good narration and fairly sweet stories.

A fun listen, especially as I enjoy Austen, and was on a tour that visited many of the sights highlighted in this sweet love story between the two tour guides.
