I really loved this perspective of mates. looking forward to the next book. to see if it’s not a replica of the first. which is the carbon copy in the “mates” themed books. they deliver a changeup that baseball player Aroldis Chapman would envy!
John Pickett is so creative and unique among the many historical romances I’ve read. The writing is so entertaining and the lead characters so engaging. I hope this series continues for years to come.

I’m so glad we’re back to awesome writing after the mess that was Milo’s book. This one had all the things to make an interesting and well rounded book. I loved listening to Lyric and Memphis’s story. And as always, Joel knocked it out of the park.

the first book was definitely better. I didn’t like the story line in this book. the story dragged and I didnt enjoy the extra characters.
