The plot was self-indulgent, veering off into perspectives and underdeveloped, random side romances that only distracted from the main characters. As always A.C. Katy has written a romance story with an interesting plot without being filled with too much angst, although their was some with the main character focusing ( whining) about his scar almost too much. But then , who knows what such trauma can do to a real persons focus on life.
Kinda boring. Not a whole lot happens throughout the entire book. There’s virtually no plot and feels like you’re just quickly fumbling around. The ‘romance’ feels super artificial and fake. After finishing this book I know nothing about these two main characters and I don’t believe they know much of anything about eachother either. So..

I love paranormal romance books, and this series is fantastic! I am looking forward to more books by A. C. Katy because they have just the right balance of romance and action, without a lot of unnecessary angst from the main character’s to drag away from the main plot!

Wow…just…wow… Joel Leslie is great! It was perfect because of his performance! The story was entertaining and scary, but Joel Leslie made it from nice story to one of the best I’ve ever listened. Funny and creepy. I loved it!
