Everything it was a beautiful book. All of them were the characters, the plot the structure, magnificent
I loved the introduction of new themes, like being deaf and a player taking an abused kid under his wing to bring the boy out of his shell.
I think I like the storyline, but the narration is so unbelievably terrible it’s hard to really get into it. He’s managed to make every character sound like they are 80 years old with a warbley voice. My other issue is how the 25-30ish year old characters are written, I’m not sure if the author..
What an amazing ending to this series! There were a lot of twists and turns, and I can’t wait to go and re-listen to see the clues that I missed the first time around. I absolutely loved to see the character development of both Wes and Sebastian! I empathized with the struggles both of them..
I enjoyed these characters in the first book and they continue to intrigue and entertain. I do keep expecting to get to know more secondary characters so will goOn to book three with that in mind. The neat little oh-oh at the end didn’t leave the story arc unresolved. It do manage to tantalize me..

Chicago, the Pacific Northwest, the 1980s, all places I’ve lived and in a few words I feel like I’m there…
Alice Winters does it again! Engaging story with great plot twists that keep you on the edge of your seat! As expected the sexy witty banter continues between our two MCs. Joel Leslie narrates the book so well, I swear I can not only distinguish between the characters but visualize them too. Great book! I..
All 4 stories were a great continuance of the first series. The dragons are so funny, I LOVED that so many characters got their own happy ever after. Favorite story has to be Percy and Brandt, but all the characters were wonderful. Joel Leslie is FANTASTIC as always!
Imagine falling in love in the context of it being considered illegal, immoral and ill. Love often found a way despite the massive hurdles and this story captures the bravery of those who did. It is beautifully written and performed. As an out person in the 80s I could relate to the fear felt by..
