I would have enjoyed this so much more if the narrator wasn’t so bad. His cadence and accents are distractingly terrible.
Terrible narrator!

I am pro LGTBQ+ rights and I welcome any literature that highlights any kind of loving, consenting, legal relationship. I just missed the signs in the reviews and the book’s description that this was detailed male / male gay sexual activity. There’s nothing wrong w/ that…it’s just not my up of tea and I couldn’t..
I just came off a series of books voiced by the incomparable Cornell Collins (also known as Mathew Lloyd Davies), and was skeptical about Joel Leslie… but he was fantastic! Different than C.Collins, but no less brilliant in his ability to change his voice to actually act the different emotions and situations for each character…
A rollercoaster story of love, intrigue, betrayal and breathtaking tists and turns. Where has Tal Bauer been all my life??
I normally don’t do reviews but I really enjoyed this story line. I have heard this story so many times already… I have to keep re listening.. Love the narrators voices are great. Love the story plots gotta say best ever.
John Pickett is a young man in the employ of the Bow Street force. Due to his youth and inexperience, his focus has mainly been on the less sensational crimes such as pickpockets, petty thieves, and so forth. That is until now when he finds himself thrust into catching a murderer and finds himself getting..
Andrew and Noah, they hate each other or do they…… There’s lots of humor, snark and heart. Tish is still sniffing around and he’s got some new friends. The magic really likes Noah and he’s learning all sorts of new things. As always, Joel Leslie was perfect! Worth a credit
Book 2 and 3 still have enjoyable characters and entertaining dialogue. That is brought out and shines by the performance of Joel Leslie. However, books 2 and 3 follow a format FAR too similar to book 1. Character introduced, character rescued by dragon, character falls in love with dragon, character and dragon get hot and..
the story is unique and fascinating. the way it is told and the language used is fun and as unique as the story and titular character August March. the narrator delivered it perfectly. this is an excellent book to read and/or listen to!
And the hijinks continue…. This book was just as laugh out loud funny as the previous two, and Lane and Felix continue to find more trouble. Just wait till you find out what Felix steals this time. Once again the narration was well suited to the story.
