I found the story slightly unbelievable Ethan one of the main characters not very likeable

Twisty, turny, intriguing, freaky, creepy, and even a little, dare I say, heart-tugging? *That* I was not expecting! But leave it to Alice Winters to keep me on my toes, to expect the unexpected. Joel Leslie was a great fit for this book, his creepiness factor was A+.

Joel Leslie must be some sort of incarnation of a storytelling God. One of the best narrators I’ve ever heard, and their skills w/ dialects and characterwork is stunning and engaging. A wonderful story as well.
