This modern day take on dragons and mages is so worth the read. Alric’s & Cameron’s story is a great start to this series. They’re chemistry is wonderful. When you add in narration by Joel Leslie, it becomes absolutely fantastic!
I honestly don’t know what made pick this title, and for once, I was suprised in a plesant way, Sage (whatever is written) is very lovable and relatable men, I would definitely read a sequel, loved the magic and the world.

Is there a point to this? I’m enjoying the narration, but I am waiting for a plot. Any plot. Any reason to keep listening. Sadly I gave up.
This is such an incredible book, and Joel Leslie does an absolutely fantastic job at narrating it! I have loved this series since the first book and have laughed, cried, gotten angry, and become aroused right alongside the characters; which for me is the mark of exceptional writing and narration. I’m super excited to start..
Readable scene-by-scene but lacking in every aspect (story, characters, world-building) requiring more than a chapter’s lengeth of coherence.
This was my favorite. I listened in one sitting and laughed out loud several times. Such a fun book and tied up things in a satisfying way. Joel Leslie, as usual, was fantastic.
David- rock solid, steady, a tad anal retentive and overly structured – meets the other half of his soul. Meanwhile, a whole other realm must be rescued by the CSG. This story had a lot of laughs, tears, action, love, elves, and dragons! The ending is not only a huge surprise, but a fantastically well..

Honestly, this book did not give me what I thought it was suppose to gave. The narrators were not the worst but… they didn’t catch my attention. I feel toxic for saying this but this mafia romance is too delicate for the genre. I love sweet and cute stories but I think the boss was..
Look I don’t write reviews often or at all, but this book and series in general is well written and expertly narrated. All and all there just needs to be another book I want this series completed and can’t wait for the next one thank you Eileen glass for such a good story.
