an incredible twist!

Review from Hijinks with a Hellhound →

I’m so excited by the transfer from Modern fantasy to high fantasy. It’s really cool. Brilliant author and Joel Leslie never lets me down. my only problem is I feel like I don’t get the full ending of the romance but I suppose that will come with the continuation of the series. I love this!

Emotional roller coaster

Review from Broken →

I was listening to this while driving. Joel Leslie does an excellent job with the emotion, and at one point I am bawling like a baby, while driving in hectic Houston traffic. I hope for more audible from this author, especially if it is with the same narrator.

Joel Leslie always does a phenomenal job, but may have outdone himself with this series. i can’t wait to hear what’s he’s done..

Better, but..

Review from Blood →

This book was more in line with the first book but suffers from many of the same problems. A dragon and mage meet and instantly fall in love. Little other plot develops. Some is alluded to but not actually pursued. The relationships portrayed are pretty idealized and even for a fantastical setting, stretch credulity. The..
