Even Joel Leslie’s narration could not save this collection for me. Too much casual violence mixed with too many unnecessary repeated descriptions of a coffee shop. The whole thing was just not enough satisfaction and too much gore and fluff. I made it a little way into the second book and then gave up.
First, I love this narrator – I listened to the audio version. I loved how this one had me laughing out loud and nearly crying at points. NR Walker please write more about these guys.

Listening to Joel Leslie and Greg Boudreaux was just sexy. This story was great. Love the family camp set up as well as the fake fiancé troup. These two adorable.
Don’t get me wrong, the voice actor is very talented. But his voice is older-sounding and doesn’t feel appropriate to the young characters. His “cockney” accent is also incredibly grating. I’d rather have this VA reading classical literature than romance novels.

loved the story. characters are well developed and interesting. too much sickly sweet emotional relating, made me cringe a lot. party of it was definitely the narrator. a lot of intense hesitations that maked the conversations between characters very heavy and syrupy.
