This was such a wonderful addition to this series. Harlow and Bailey’s story was full of longing, suspense and a crazy twist. The audio for this book was fabulous. I’m excited to read Mori’s story next!

This author obviously doesn’t like her heroines because they are STUPID and unbearably NAIVE. Also more insipid romance than mystery or thriller.
If you enjoyed this snippet and the characters you MUST read the whole series I have reread them twice. And always am excited to get the next story!
Sweet story. Perfect to listen to in the background. Not too much angst; conflicts pull at the heartstrings but are resolved quickly. Joel Leslie breathes life into the story as always.

This is a short (under 2 hours) listen, but great for filling a gap between other books. The story is very fast paced, which makes sense for the length, and it’s clear the writer has done some research into this historical period. if “gay” things are not your thing push past that because there is so much more here so well written non stop emotion and fun throughout all 3 books so far. They are an instant fav for me check them out for yourself.
