I have enjoyed every book I have read by Lily Morton and this one is no exception. It is just the right amounts of spooky and quirky and entertaining. Levi and Blue are great main characters and I loved their developing relationship. Joel Leslie’s narration made a good story even better.

I sometimes have a book on my shelf that is outside of my preferred genre that I have never had time to read. Joel Leslie (one of my most beloved narrators) finished his audio version of ORIGIN, which has been on my TBR list/shelf for a while now, and I just couldn’t wait any more…

Jameson and Sedona’s story was a great ending to The Bailey series. There is a bonus scene if you also bought the e-book. I just wish we had gotten a little peak into Juno and Colton’s life in the future. They were basically left out of this story…but can’t really complain. Definitely recommend this book..
first there’s the author. funny, quirky, sweet stories with a great pace. then the narrator who breathes life into well written characters. there’s no way it could fail.
OK, the good news: Joel Froomkin is even better than his usual excellent performing Doug the pug. Doug is a wonderful character and Joel just makes him shine. Joel is always a brilliant narrator, possessed of every voice you can imagine – his women are particularly wonderful – and his characterizations of the side characters..
