Joel Leslie does a fantastic job narrating this sometimes creepy book. I really enjoy seeing Blue and Levi develop their relationship further, and Tom is a great secondary character. There are still some great laugh out loud moments, but overall the book does read more as a supernatural suspense than a romance.

I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. It makes you laugh, it makes you want to cry, it shows you what the word home really means in a relationship. It gives you reason to Hope and to want some of the same things for your own life.

I am thoroughly pleased with Joel Froomkin’s performance. He transitions to Harvey’s New York accent so easily and makes this biography even more personal. I absolutely recommend, even if Faderman’s conclusion that Harvey left the U.S. Navy under honorable conditions is false. (He was dishonorably discharged for homosexual behaviors committed while in the Navy.)
