Fun story. Ending was a bit tidy for me. I found the voice of Albert bitterman confusing, since he sounded like a woman, and I kept forgetting the character was a man. Otherwise the storytelling was good. Story itself is fun.

Combine any of Cat Sebastian’s books with Joel Leslie’s narration and you have a winner. This was (again) such a joy to read and listen to. I actually read the book first and then listened to it being narrated by Joel and it was even more wonderful. 7 stars out of 5!!

I enjoyed this story but the narrator was not great. Everyone sounded so old to me. It was hard to picture any of the characters being anyone with energy. If the story hadn’t been so intriguing, I would have traded it back.
