I very much enjoyed Miranda Dubner’s writing style, and the story was great. I loved all the characters and the glimpse into what royal life might be like. What I did not care for were the myriad POVs. I enjoy the dual POV that many romances have, and I enjoy single POV. It gets confusing..
The reader’s interpretation of the book was not what I had expected it to be. I found it too difficult to follow along because of the type of emotions the reader utilized for each character. The story on the other hand, I thought was very well written.
A good listen for those interested in an entertaining story about androids, humans, and finding true love. Joel Leslie does an amazing job bringing the characters to life and making the intimate scenes (refreshingly unapologetic and sex-positive) sizzle. A worthwhile listen for sure.

This is one of the most beautiful, tragic, life affirming and hopeful stories I have ever listened too. Joel Leslie is pure perfection and you will fall so in love with both MC’s. This was my second listen and I will be back again.

I really did enjoy the the story of these books but my gosh this guy reading it is horrible. It felt like he didn’t have the ability to finish a sentence and it caused a lot of annoying pauses after 2 or three words.
