The romance tooth-rotting sweet, it was engaging and thrilling to listen to. It’s nice to have more romance stories that are a healthy relationship, no misunderstandings, sweet and beautiful. Sometimes it did feel a bit rushed though, especially the ending.

Terrible ending to book 3
Review from Hidden in Darkness →
Overall, I ended the series feeling depressed and it was completely unnecessary- the author really just failed her characters and the reader at how she ended book 3. I had really enjoyed all 3 books until the author decided to go completely uninspired and write a depressing and trite ending. I actually won’t be reading..

This was my first by Briar Prescott. I liked it. Solid writing. That seems like faint praise, but in this world of so much indy-published work, it can no longer be taken for granted. Thoroughly enjoyed this book

First of what will be many relistens and it’s still perfect. Kit and Ethan are perfect, as is the Indiana jones style adventure. The fact that Kit’s sense of humor and general attitude are extremely easy to relate to just tops the cake. Original 2023 read: I love this book so much it hurts. I..

Review from You Should Be So Lucky →
Such a tough act to follow Casey McQuiston’s juggernaut, “Red, White & Royal Blue”, especially after the record-breaking success of Amazon Prime Video’s film 🎞️ adaptation, but THIS did NOT let down, straight (no pun intended) across the board, striking new ground, avoiding the pitfalls of two-dimensional “cookie cutter” copycats of it’s predecessor all the..
“Did Romeo throw [stuff] at his bird? I must have fallen asleep at school and missed that bit.”
Review from On Circus Lane →
Joel Leslie is amazing! I would listen to him read anything. The book, itself, is just so funny, and romantic. It’s slightly slow burn. I think it was close to 70% before they kissed but oh my God! Their little “dates” leading up to that kiss were just delicious. Lily Morton really knows how to..
