Not a fan of the narrator. I had a difficult time finishing the Audible version which is a shame since I really love the book.

the story was a little long. I thought it dragged along so slowly. good though

The story had similarities to Beauty and the Beast but was not a retelling. David was a charming and engaging character. He was well-matched with the curmudgeon Alan. Joel Leslie did an excellent job bringing the story to life.

Would have been better without the sex scenes. Don’t think I’ll read one of these again.

Lily Morton’s books are always next level amazing, but her audios are brought to a whole new level of extraordinary thanks to Joel Leslie’s incredibly emotional and talented voice. He is a gift to every book, but his books with Lily are special. This one especially.

Retribution is one of my all time favorite stories! I love Tate, Hawk and Matty!! There’s still some angst in this one but not as much as the previous two Protectors books. Narration was great. Joel always does a good job with the stories he narrates
