I’m sorry but the reader’s voices and accents are everywhere. a mix between lowbrow and high… smokers cough/old.. and I’m assuming an attempt to memic northeast fishermen due to the town being on the coast of the northeast. both men and women in the novel suffer from the mix… even the two MCs are unrecognizable..

I really wanted to like this book. The actual storyline was a good one, but I really have an issue with the “comedy “ part of the book. The snark and banter is annoying and so unnecessary.
