Sweet and hot, inducing both laughter and tears, this excellent book has me eager for more of Morton’s work, and Leslie is consistently deft.

This book has been on my reread/listen to list since the day I downloaded it, and will be for life. It’s not a heavy thinker to understand, the characters are interesting, and the narrators are perfect. So glad I found this book! Very funny!! Loved the characters and the story line. this is the first book I’ve listened to by lily Morton, not the last, I’ve already downloaded Milo!! Loved Joel Leslie’s narration, he gave each of the characters a wonderful voice and really helped sell the story!!! great job everyone!!

OH this was a fun one to read but Leslie really does a great job bringing the humor to this one. I adore these characters and this series and this one is still one of my favorites.

it isn’t just that Joel Leslie is the absolute best narrator/performer. This man has a gift. Switching between accents and voices for each character, he brings them alive and vibrant. He turns good books into gold.
