I felt as though the naughty scenes were only there to pad out the story. Despite that when the story was going it was pretty good. I like political dances of death.

Said it, meant it! As a huge Discworld fan, I feel good saying this!! All of Estrella’s books are beautiful satire combined with differently-abled themes and characters combing their strengths to succeed by overcoming societal norms in a wrapped in delicious , funny and fun LITRPG adventure without being one. I always love the stories and characters E Davies brings us and Kyle and Nic don’t dissapoint. Leslie does a great job with narration and giving voice to all the characters , some of the female voices were questionable but overall it’s good.

Loved this book… I cried so many times. But the laughter and love healed my broken heart.

Pretty good overall. I save 5’s for like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings or War and Peace. Very entertaining story. Not a masterpiece but I will definitely listen to the other ones in that series. I really enjoyed this audiobook. It was such an entertaining story. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to listen to what comes next in this series.

The story was amazing! Nic is a transgender man who has moved to escape his family. Kyle is out and proud and femme. This was such a good story, impossibly made better having Joel Leslie narrate it. Loved every word!!

I really enjoy this series a lot. I have read the a bit out of order but this author does a really fantastic job of giving enough information that you are not lost, but not so much that you are rehashing everything. I had to put in a review as I am seriously hoping more of this series gets put into audiobook format, and for the love of all that is holy PLEASE keep the same narrator!!!! The story itself is sweet and fun, albeit there might be some “holes” that left me questioning or wanting more..
