My first supernatural/monster romance and I LOVED it š Avery and Ozen are the sweetest coupleā¦from the first encounter to the end of the book. The protectiveness and tender care they have for each other ugh š«¶š
The setting mattered so little that I wonder why these authors even bothered making this a fantasy. This was a long, dull romance between three people who should have been larger than life, but were so forgettable Iāve already forgotten them.

I truly enjoyed this and it made me realize I wanted to read more. The writer is very good with it and making it not a slutty book but a very good book thereās history thereās families thereās characters that you want to get to know.
As a writer, I think sheās very good. I love her stories. I hope that she will keep up writing the stories of Ireland and the Scottish Islands. Iām sure thereās more to be done.

I enjoyed the characters, the magical system, and the romance. I was a little taken aback when everything ground to a halt for some Big Sexy Time, rather than things being a little more integrated, but I liked the book as a whole. Will probably get the second one.
