The story was a delightful English farce and Joel L Froomkin was the perfect narrator for it. His voices were amazing, and his comic timing perfect. A v”highly enjoyable book and recording.
Highly enjoyable!

So um I’m still trying to come to terms with the fact that the story ended with SOOOO many things unanswered 16 hours listening to it and when im thinking that the story is going to focus on them and not on the darn bugs poof its over! Like what!!?? Lol anyway i did like..
I thoroughly loved Maxim and Derek’s story. The struggle Derek faces with who he thinks he should be and being true to himself really resonated with me because I too struggle with the feeling of wanting to please others and what they think to the detriment of being true to myself. I love Maxim’s outlook..
Combining a few different elements that I enjoy into one great story, Flash Rip was a great read with characters that were interesting and some quick bursts of action when they had to go into lifesaving mode. There’s a bit of an age gap, one very closeted former professional athlete, sizzling sex scenes, and hot..
Someone help me finish this book! I have never grown to hate a protagonist this much in my life. Arden is so wonderful with other people, that I literally can’t believe how helpless, whiny, helpless, destructive, self- contradictory, and hypocritical he is in his relationship with Caspian. I just keep going hoping that someone will..
There’s so much I loved about this. The historical setting of Halley’s Comet’s visibility, and the hysteria that surrounded it. The trans allegory a la X-Men. The library setting. The nerdy-hot characters. And who knew I’d be into m/m monster/human sex. Welp. Guess I found a new genre. Joel Leslie is fantastic as usual, except..
What a great series with solid characters and a tight plot. Narrator does a fabulous job of bringing characters to life! Must read!
I struggled through this. In fact I fast forwarded. The plot is good, but the writer creates rediculous, mushy, drawn out dialog. It’s just annoying and boring.
I actually did like the story, and even more so I really enjoyed the narrator and the way he captured the voices.
My two favorite narrators reveal the two different personalities of these characters. Fun amd low angst, this is definitely worth multiple listens.
