This audiobook had been on my wishlist for a while. The narrator for Max was fantastic, the other for Jordan was annoying and whiney to match that character. I thought I would get over being irritated but the end if the book came and I’m still dissatisfied. This book would have translated so much better..

I think it was because most of the characters especially the queer men seemed to all suffer from toxic masculinity where as all but two women seemed to be manipulative gossips. I felt continually let down by the characters. In some ways I think it deals with real issues..
