I loved this story when I read it, and loved the narration even more. I want to be friends with David. He is just a genuine soul. I loved how he helped Alun with his curse! Joel Leslie is always an amazihg narrator and he didn’t disappoint here either!
Really wanted enjoy this book but., The MC stayed the sniffling weak (physically/ emotionally) trope throughout the story. He is master in name only. I LOVED this story. it was well written with the britishisms I love from this author. lots of suspense and relationship/character growth. the narrator did an amazing job. distinct and unique character voices and a wonderful performance. cannot wait for the next installment!
