I’ve so enjoyed the two books I listened to so far. The narration is wonderful and John Pickett is an adorable character! I plan to continue listening to this series and highly recommend it for those that like historical mysteries.

I really enjoy listening to this story, the MC’s are great, snarky, funny and endearing. They played off each other well. The premise was interesting and really holds your interest and it is a bit creepy. As always, Joel Leslie was spot on.

mostly slice-of-life fantasy. the fantasy is having the money to do extensive restoration on an old house and live in a hotel at the same time. takes too long to get into the ghost story. instead obsessively reporting his personal life. kind of boring.

This audiobook had been on my wishlist for a while. The narrator for Max was fantastic, the other for Jordan was annoying and whiney to match that character. I thought I would get over being irritated but the end if the book came and I’m still dissatisfied. This book would have translated so much better..
worth reading overall but MC is just too weak, nothing about him stands out. Just wondering who is going to save him next.
