I started this not expecting to even want to finish…. WOW is all that I can say. I was hooked not even 3 min in and didn’t stop until I finished the damn thing. Now I’m starting the next and can’t wait to see where this goes. So addicted!
The description of the incubus’s segmented wasp-body-like penis killed the sex part of the story for me. It gives me the “willie’s” to imagine what that would look like. The narrator is well known and one of the better narrators but he goes a little overboard with his eagerness in sex scenes. I have to..
I absolutely adore how kind, sweet and unbelievably caring Cal was right out the gate with Oscar. not sure i liked the performance from Oscar’s va sometimes the emotions didnt feel authentic to me but there were moments where he absolutely nailed it. The irony of Bailey being Harlow’s isn’t lost on me, can’t wait..
Arlo and Jack’s story makes me so happy. It’s funny and romantic and sweet. They have so much chemistry! I did have concerns when Steven popped up but they dealt with that well. Joel Leslie is perfect in this. At this point, his voice immediately makes me think of falling in love and laughing until..
I was lost in this wonderful novel, and the actor reading was just fantastic. Aaron Jackson wrote a truly engaging masterpiece. Highly recommend!
I feel like I’ve just gone through a damn Category 5 hurricane! My adrenaline is off the charts…and was basically that way from the very beginning of Book 1, right to the very last word of Book 4…and, if there is a god of books (that I love – ‘cause that’s all that matters *shrug*),..
I’ve been waiting for Aulay’s story since Book 2 where we were first introduced to the Buchanan brothers and their sister Saidh. I can’t decide if my favourite this far is Book 1, Ross & Anabelle’s story, or this one with Aulay and Jetta. While Jetta doesn’t have much of a personality and is a..
I just couldn’t take the relentless stress of Roman’s breakdown, which basically lasted the entire book. Why Leo was in love with him, or allowed him back into his life, remains a mystery. There is nothing enjoyable about this story… the premise was interesting, but the execution was depressing and exhausting.
It’s so nice to listen to a book that doesn’t make me anxious about what the characters are enduring. No horror and no angsty internal dialogue.
