I adored this book! Lily is the most AMAZING author, and for her to put out a ghost story YESS! Narration is PERFECT!!
Her writing gets better and better. And if anyone but Joel Leslie reads her work they had better have an Oscar behind their name because no one gets her likes he does. This was spooky and I hoped she will delve even deeper into the psychic themes next time.

I loved this story when I read it, and loved the narration even more. I want to be friends with David. He is just a genuine soul. I loved how he helped Alun with his curse! Joel Leslie is always an amazihg narrator and he didn’t disappoint here either!
Really wanted enjoy this book but., The MC stayed the sniffling weak (physically/ emotionally) trope throughout the story. He is master in name only. Everyone around him is stronger in character to include the servants. The sex scenes were better written and more occurring than the rest of the story. Not trying to sound prudish..
