The story was pretty good, definitely drew me in. My only issue was that the secondary narrator, Oscar’s narrator, sounds a whole awful lot like the villian in “Barbie as The Princess and the Pauper,” Preminger. I can’t stop thinking it as I’m listening.😅🥲

I was constantly smiling or actually laughing out loud at this audiobook. I even cried a couple of time. the story is sweet and lightly angsty. You can really feel the emotions of the characters. Joel Leslie gives an amazing performance as always. I love Lee Welch’s books. I can’t wait for the next one.
