While I eventually liked the story, I was not prepared for the sudden shift from mystery to horror. I was listening at night as I got ready for bed when the monsters made their debut. I was not in a good head-space for that content, and felt ambushed. Accurate categorization matters!

If you love sweet, no angst romance then this book is for you. Wicket is a sweet little doggy that just about steals the story from the two main characters. There is a little bit of steam to this ultra sweet romance.Narration was perfect!
