Lily Morton’s books and Joel Leslie’s narration are my absolute favorite combination. I wasn’t sure what to expect as Gideon didn’t have any redeeming qualities when we met him in Milo… so I was surprised this was my favorite book out of the three!

Despite starting off with an abusive situation, and coping with the aftermath throughout, this story is mostly feel good fluffiness. Relatively low angst.
